As a Geospatial Carbon Project Analyst, you will collaborate with the team in developing, geospatial analysis of land use change, remote sensing analysis, and monitoring regenerative agriculture project in Czech Republic and other countries. You will be a key member of the team responsible for certification process under carbon crediting standards (Gold Standard).
- Review geospatial products in the form of thematic maps and graphics with spatial components such as land use cover maps, land use change maps, agriculture practices and other geospatial analytical services from or suppliers
- Review and contribute to map development solutions with our foreign partners
- Contribute to review and monitor primary and secondary data collection from farmers all year.
- Contribute to development of presentation on key findings, project related issues.
- Contribute to build, organize, and maintain clean, well-documented datasets and evidence to support the validation and verification processes in compliance with established methodologies and standards.
- Support preparation of high-quality, detailed monitoring reports tailored for internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives and requirements.
- Degree in Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing, cartography, ecosystem conservation, conservation biology, or a closely related field
- Expertise in GIS, remote sensing, and/or spatial analysis, using QGIS, ArcGIS or similar software.
- The capacity to solve complex project-related problems independently, logical and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills, especially verbal and written skills in English
- Strong teamwork skills and ability to manage targets and priorities
- Independence and determination to find new solutions as we continue to develop rapidly Experience in the carbon mitigation agenda or the Voluntary Carbon Market
- High tolerance for ambiguity; ability to thrive in a dynamic and rapidly changing environment
